my thought abt the trip...

overall it was a very satisfying holiday for me...

i overshopped my budget and tried quite a number of local fares,roast pigeon,two film special egg milk custard,wanton,charsiew,goose,desserts and etc

my only complaint was lack of sleep.. i was unable to sleep early and slept average 3-4 hrs a night.. i got sick towards the end of the trip and fully sick when i reached singapore,luckily didnt affect the holiday..

i like the 1st hotel,jj hotel at wanchai road a lot because we got the big big room supposedly for handicapped and the location is so nice... took tram daily and when u walked out from hotel,its straight away food and shopping unlike singapore.. singapore orchard road is pretty boring and the places like angmokio central and toapayoh central cant rival hk places.. and not only tat.the places around jj hotel open till pretty late...

in future when i go hk holiday again,i'd stay in jj hotel again,worth the money and location is good.. near causewaybay mtr/shopping area(sogo,times square,world trade centre and etc) and near admiralty mtr which goes many places(kowloon area,tsimtsahui,central,oceanpark)

next time,i'd like to try disneyland for sure but the admission is pretty steep,hk350(70 sing).. planned to go actually on tues but changed to ocean park but i didnt feel sad because i made good use of tat supposedly hk350 to shop... bought timberland shoes for 390hk

macau was fun too even though i lost 150hk in blackjack... doubt i will go back macau ever again.. sin city,temptation is strong.... can lose lots money there.. lol

olympic terrace suite apartment interior pics..

these are the pics of our 2nd accomodation,olympic terrace suite.. we got promo for 2337hk for 3 nights... supposedly 3 bedroom apartment with 2 single and 1 double bed with 1 toilet but we got upgraded to executive apartment.. 2 bedroom,2 single and 1 double still with 2 toilet,kitchen and living room...

6 of us squeeze into this,taking turn sleeping on sofa and floor so we paid 389.50hk each,roughly abt 25 sing per night

day 8,last day in hk

reach back hk at abt 4am+++

took cab back to hotel from ferry terminal in hk island to sham shui po in kowloon island... abt 97hk dollar..

by the time we wash up and everything,it was 6am+,some of us eat breakfast b4 we went to sleep..

woke up at abt 1pm then checked out at 1.30pm. we left our luggage at lobby while we explore nearby shopping centres and shop for last min souvenirs. 

our flight was at 8.15pm.. we thought we were late and we ran inside the terminal like mad dog only to find that everyone is also late...

finally reached back safe and sound in sg at abt 11.30pm++

total i spent roughly abt hk6500 in hk+macau for accomodation,shopping,food,travelling expenses

s$382 for airfare paid b4 the trip

hk250 for ferry to and fro macau

hk150 ocean park

+-hk2.7k shopping + hk300 for food/souvenirs

hk1.3k accomodation

hk200 lost on gambling throughout the entire trip(50hk in home games,150hk in macau)

octopus card fares+taxi abt hk200+

so the remainder is on food which is abt +-1.4k hk

day 7,macau

left hotel at 11am+ to go macau.. board ferry at 12.30pm.. went eat at some small coffee shop.. bought rice with pork chop and egg,ham and luncheon meat for 35,fried dumpling for 30 and herbal tea for 12

then went to golden lisboa casino where I won 500 bucks then lost it at sands... lost 650 at sands... then go venetian took pics... then took 3am ferry back...

shopped abt 150hk for souvenirs as well

day 6,tues

we left hotel at 10.30am for ocean park,we ate breakfast at roadside stall near our apartment for 22 bucks...

took the bus(10.80) to ocean park,ticket was 145.60 discounted price.. it was not bad... seeing the panda at the end was cool..

then took public bus back to central to eat tat wanton and charsiew with my fren... 12 bucks for wanton,49hk for charsiew rice set meal...
then went to buy egg tart and stuffs for abt 20hk

after tat we took ferry back to tsim tsa shui.. I went one shopping centre buy street soccer shoes for 209 and a shirt for my sis at 135(nike shirt)

after tat walk along the street toward temple street market,bought ice cream for 7 bucks.. then at temple street,bought herbal tea bottle at 18... then after some window shopping,went home by cab... paid 6 bucks shared with my frens...
